Eutelsat appoints Homsy new CTO, replacing Leroy

Luxembourg, 12 November 2020. – Eutelsat has appointed Pascal Homsy new Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

Homsy joins Eutelsat from Thales Alenia Space where he was head of the Space Telecommunications Business Line, the Paris-based company said. He has 30 years of experience in senior management positions within major international groups, notably the telecoms conglomerate, Alcatel/Lucent/Nokia, and Atos.

Homsy will join Eutelsat in January and sit on the company’s Executive Committee. He replaces Yohann Leroy who left Eutelsat. Homsy is a French national and holds a Master of Sciences from Telecom Paris Tech.
