Dr. Greg Autry to become NASA CFO

Dr. Greg Autry, of California, will be nominated to be Chief Financial Officer of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Dr. Greg Autry researches and teaches technology commercialization at the University of Southern California where he is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Entrepreneurship. He also teaches graduate courses in space entrepreneurship for the International Space University Center for Space Entrepreneurship at the Florida Institute of Technology.

Dr. Autry also directs the Pacific Commercial Spaceflight Initiative within the Aldrin Space Institute at Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Autry currently serves as the Chair of the Safety Working Group on the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee with the FAA’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation. He is also the Vice President for Space Development at the National Space Society and has published extensively on space policy and the business of space development.

Dr. Autry previously served on the NASA Agency Review Team and as the White House Liaison at NASA. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a PhD from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine as well as a B.A. from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
