Starting July 10, 2017, Arabsat announced the broadcast of Medi-1 TV HD on the newly launched Arabsat Free-To-Air DVB-S2 platform. Medi 1 TV broadcasts standard newscasts as well as talk-shows and documentaries. These programmes cover current affairs, business and financial markets, and sports. It is rated among the top Pan-Arab stations in North Africa.
