The three individuals appointed to the Supreme Council of Space are Elham Aminzadeh, Mostafa Safavi-Homami and Hassan Shafti. Each appointment lasts for four years and nominations to the Supreme Council are made by the Iranian Minister for Communication and Information Technology.
