In September 2021 the UN COPUOS Legal Subcommittee announced the creation of a working group on Space Resources. SpaceWatch.Global contributor Antonino Salmeri had the chance to talk with Ambassador Andrzej  Misztal and Professor Steven Freeland about this working group. 

Firms in the space sector often internationalize. Expanding abroad is an important way to grow business. Internationalization is sometimes difficult, though. As firms leave familiar markets and enter new ones, they often need support to understand what are at first unknown environments.

Six European space start-ups founded the Young European Enterprises Syndicate (YEESS) to “facilitate and accelerate the New Space dynamic in Europe”, the companies said yesterday at the launch of YESS on the Space Forum in Luxembourg. The founding members of YEESS are Aerospacelab, Anywaves, ConstellR, Exotrail, Pangea Aerospace and Satlantis.
