Spire Global, the world's largest earth observation constellation of satellites for advanced weather data, maritime analytics, and aircraft tracking, has announced over U.S.$40m in new funding

John Thornton of Astrobotic was named CEO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. The award was announced at the 23rdannual Tech50 awards ceremony, held in Pittsburgh.

The Royal Thai Air Force has awarded a contract to ISIS - Innovative Solutions In Space B.V. to realize their next satellite mission, based on an ISISpace 6U CubeSat. This will be the second Earth Observation satellite of the Royal Thai Air Force, with the objective to further strengthen their independent space operations for Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR) purposes.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, MBRSC, has announced that the Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft, carrying the first Emirati astronaut Hazza Al Mansoori, along with Oleg Skripochka and Jessica Meir, successfully docked with the International Space Station, ISS. This marks the beginning of the first spaceflight to be undertaken by an Emirati astronaut and first visit by an Arab astronaut to the ISS.

UK Defence Minister Anne-Marie Trevelyan has announced a £1.5 million investment in 12 ground-breaking space innovation projects.The announcement marks the next step in the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’s (Dstl) ‘Space to Innovate’ competition, which sought to find and fund new technologies that could improve the UK’s resilience, awareness and capability in space.
