FCC Chairwoman Rosenworcel announces plan for a Space Bureau

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, announced a plan to reorganize the agency to better support the needs of the growing satellite industry, promote long-term technical capacity at the FCC, and navigate 21st century global communications policy, the FCC said.  Under the plan, the FCC’s International Bureau will be reorganized into a Space Bureau and a standalone Office of International Affairs.

POLARIS tests Spaceplane Demonstrators at Peenemünde Airport

POLARIS conducted a 4-day flight campaign at the Airport of Peenemünde on the Baltic Sea, lasting from Friday, 28th to Monday, 31st of October. While previous demonstrator flight test campaigns took place at the local airport of Rotenburg/Wümme close to Bremen, POLARIS now required significantly larger airspace for high-performance testing.
