Rocket Lab to launch NorthStar’s SSA Services

Rocket Lab, an American aerospace manufacturer and launch service provider and NorthStar, a Canadian commercial service that monitors space, announced on the 19th of June that Rocket Lab will launch the first satellites dedicated to NorthStar’s commercial Space Situational Awareness (SSA) services. The initial block of four satellites, assembled and operated by Spire Global, are scheduled for deployment on Rocket Lab’s Electron launch vehicle in the autumn of 2023.

European Rover Challenge to feature significant international representation

The ERC 2023 has announced that they will feature 88 university teams from Canada, Japan, Great Britain, Switzerland, India, Poland, Italy, Turkey, and Mexico. Teams across five continents have joined the competition, 54 will participate in person for the world’s largest track mapping the surface of the Red Planet, and 34 will participate online in a remote formula.
