GMV to provides core software for German Armed Forces

The German Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has recently contracted Atos and OHB Digital Connect to supply the "Space Situational Awareness Center Expansion Stage 1” to the German Federal Armed Forces. Vyoma partners with Atos to improve satellite safety

Vyoma, a space startup aiming to make space safer, has partnered with Atos Germany to help improve the safety of satellites in orbit, Vyoma said. The firm will bring its innovative solution for tracking space objects while Atos will share its secure data management system. Due to this cooperation, satellite operators will have a more effective way of avoiding collisions and manoeuvring.

Rocket Lab successfully catches booster returning from space with helicopter

Rocket Lab has successfully deployed 34 satellites to orbit during its “There And Back Again” mission, which also included a mid-air capture of the Electron booster with a helicopter for the first time. This was the company’s 26th Electron mission. Rocket Lab has deployed a total of 146 satellites to orbit with the launch vehicle so far.
