Our Space Café “33 minutes with Marco Ferrazzani - ESA Ministerial Meeting of 2022, the outcomes and the way forward” took place on Tuesday, 29th November. Marco Ferrazzani is the Senior Legal Counsel and Head of the Legal Services department at the European Space Agency (ESA), based at its headquarters in Paris. He is an advisor to the ESA Director General and to the ESA Council. He sits on a number of boards including those of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).

Spacewalkers Complete New Solar Array Installation on ISS

The National Space Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced that expedition 68 Flight Engineers Josh Cassada and Frank Rubio of NASA concluded their spacewalk. after 7 hours and 5 minutes. Cassada and Rubio completed their major objectives: to install an International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array (iROSA) and disconnect a cable to ensure the 1B channel reactivation. They also completed an additional task to release several bolts for the upcoming iROSA installation on the 4A power channel on the port truss.

CSIRO and SKAO Launch SKA-Low Construction in Western Australia

Australia’s national science agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), has helped launch the construction of the Square Kilometer Array Observatory (SKAO)’s SKA-Low telescope at Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory on Wajarri Country in Mid West Western Australia.

Southern Launch and ATSpace to launch two Kestrel I rockets in December

Rocket manufacturer ATSpace has confirmed the company is ready to launch two of their Kestrel I rockets before the end of the year with the Australian Space Agency's permission, launch services and rocket subsystems provider Southern Launch said.  ATSpace and Southern Launch, are planning to launch the VS02 and VS03 missions from the Whalers Way Orbital Launch Complex in December.
