Virgin Galactic Holdings have announced the start of commercial spaceline operations. The first commercial spaceflight, 'Galactic 01', will tentatively fly between June 27 – June 30, 2023. The second commercial spaceflight, 'Galactic 02,' will follow in early August 2023, with monthly spaceflights expected thereafter.

MDA Ltd has announced it is working with Thoth Technology Inc. to create a made-in-Canada deep space radar surveillance and space domain awareness (SDA) capability. As part of a strategic cooperation agreement, MDA will integrate its commercial data services with Thoth's ground-based radar technology to provide unprecedented levels of sovereign monitoring in deep space over Canada, providing both detection and characterization of space objects.

ispace, inc. has announced the former NASA astronaut and U.S. Air Force Colonel (Ret) Ronald J. Garan Jr as CEO of ispace Technologies U.S., inc. Mr. Garan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition, Garan also earned a Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Florida.
