Ubotica Technologies, a Dublin based aerospace company, announced on the 7th of March that the CogniSAT-CRC solution which maximises Earth Observation asset utilisation using flight proven CogniSAT technology. CogniSAT-CRC uses lossless image compression and a flight-proven AI-based Cloud Detection and Removal algorithm to deliver a six-fold increase in useful data capture per orbit for Earth Observation (EO) satellites to maximise the areas of interest scanned during each orbit.

Satcube has announced that it is building a new facility for mass-producing satellite terminals, both for existing product verticals and new ventures for LEO and vehicular applications. Accordingly, it will complete the new facility on July 1st, with a production timeline tentatively at mid-August.

UKspace has announced on the 6th of March that the Cornwall Space Cluster will be the first to benefit from its new membership band. This is part of UKspace’s new strategy to broaden the models of membership and widen knowledge of the space sector within companies that can benefit from engaging with the industry. The new membership band is specifically for space clusters in the UK.

The UK Space Agency (UKSA) has announced £1.6 million in funding for eight projects through its Enabling Space Exploration fund on Mars Day. The Agency's goal is to invest in projects that could revolutionize the human ability to journey deeper into space safely and efficiently, using remote technologies and supplies found in space to sustain astronauts and spacecraft.

Share My Space, the French space surveillance and operations safety startup, has signed a contract with Airbus Defense and Space. Through this contract, Airbus will assess Share My Space’s optical data's ability to improve collision alert's reliability and overall risk management practice in low earth orbit (LEO).

OffWorld has expanded into Luxembourg, appointing a former ispace CEO, Kyle Acierno, to run its European HQ. With its headquarters in Pasadena, California, OffWorld was founded in 2016 to reinvent the mining, manufacturing, and construction industries by developing a new generation of AI-powered robots able to withstand extreme conditions. It is now adapting its technology for the mining of resources in space.
