The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and the China Manned Space Agency accepted In Quattro’s two-phase flow cooling system as one of nine scientific projects planned for the China Space Station (CSS) in 2022, In Quattro announced. The Shiyan-10 satellite suffered an abnormal function and the spacecraft was lost after a normal flight, Xinhua News Agency reports. The satellite launched from Xichang Satellite Launch Centre on a Long March 3B rocket. The reasons for the anomaly and loss of spacecraft are still unknown, investigation of what happened exactly is still ongoing.

Three Chinese astronauts safely returned to Earth near Dongfeng in the Gobi Desert, Inner Mongolia, at around 1:34 am ET on 17th September. Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo touched down after completing the first crewed mission of Tianhe space station.
