ispace Announces New CEO of ispace U.S. Entity

ispace, inc. has announced the former NASA astronaut and U.S. Air Force Colonel (Ret) Ronald J. Garan Jr as CEO of ispace Technologies U.S., inc. Mr. Garan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition, Garan also earned a Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Florida.

The DLR Senate appointed Professor Meike Jipp as the new Divisional Board Member for Energy and Transport on the 15th of June. Professor Jipp teaches Transport Demand and Transport Impacts at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) and Director of the Berlin Institute of Transport Research at DLR.

Neumann Space Partners With Space Inventor

Neumann Space has announced that it has signed a contract with Space Inventor, a European microsatellite manufacturer, that will enable it to gain greater access to space as part of its program of in-orbit demonstration (IOD). As part of the contract, Space Inventor will provide Neumann Space with the opportunity to integrate its next-generation Neumann Drive as an IOD payload on board a 6U EDISON Satellite that will tentatively launch in the second half of 2024.
