The Philippines To Sign Space Cooperation Agreement With Russia’s Roscosmos

The Philippines will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Russian national space agency, Roscosmos, that will allow the Southeast Asian country to launch the micro- and nanosatellites it is developing, as well as be a site for a receiving station of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) – Russia's positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) satellite constellation that is the equivalent of, and rival to, the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS).

Thailand’s Air Force Taps Dutch Nanosatellite Maker ISIS For EO CubeSat

The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has signed a contract with Dutch New Space satellite manufacturer and integrator Innovative Solutions in Space B.V. (ISIS) on 7 September 2018 for an Earth observation CubeSat, and ground segment, that will be launched on board an Arianespace Vega satellite launch vehicle in the third quarter of 2019.
