Aalyria and RSN Partner for RSN’s LEO Constellation

Rivada

Aalyria and Rivada Space Networks (RSN) have entered into an agreement to use Aalyria’s Spacetime platform to orchestrate the network for Rivada’s planned LEO constellation. Rivada’s constellation will consist of 600 satellites interconnected via laser links. As a result, the solution will offer integrated core and edge connectivity over a single, global private network in space. The first satellite launch is set for 2025, with global service starting in 2026.

Boeing and Airbus Dominate Global Aerospace & Defense Industry

According to Brand Finance's annual valuation, Boeing (brand value up 13% to US$17.5 billion) has remained the most valuable aerospace and defense brand in 2023. This is as demand for commercial aircraft increased following a return to global travel, post-Covid-19, has sustained Boeing’s brand value growth, which is 4% higher than its main competitor Airbus (brand value up 9% to US$14.4 billion). However, Boeing’s brand value remains 23% lower than its pre-pandemic value.

EnduroSat Joins Mission to Search for Exoplanets

EnduroSat, a software-flexible NanoSats and space services provider, has announced a partnership with the University of Sydney and Breakthrough Initiatives on its TOLIMAN mission. EnduroSat will design and build a 16U MicroSat called TOLIMAN to perform high-precision astrometric measurements on the Alpha Centauri system. The search for exoplanets will focus on the habitable zone around two Sun-like stars, Alpha Centauri A and B.
