#SpaceWatchGL Interviews: Mohammed Ali of Atos IT Solutions and Services GmbH

This week as the USA notes the 48th anniversary of Apollo 17 and prepares to return to the Moon with NASA’s Artemis Program, the new US the Institute of Space Commerce is being launched with its aim to change the equation for the human race with its goal of bringing one million new minds to the space economy.

Nine IGLUNA students presented the initial phase of their lunar mission "SCALE" to a team of ESA specialists involved in the preparation and assessment of the agency's future space missions. The mission brings together three experiments developed during the 2020 edition of IGLUNA by students from the universities of Berlin, Aachen and Warsaw. Their goal? To send their experiments by 2028 to the Moon for a 14-day mission.

In this week’s Space Cafè WebTalk, Martin Coleman, Member of the Advisory Board at Satcoms Innovation Group, United Kingdom talked about 2020 vision on Space Debris.

Last week, the Open Lunar Foundation announced a new initiative: Breaking Ground, a lunar resource trust. The purpose of the trust is to steward and demonstrate formal and effective institutional management of lunar resources between different stakeholders. In order to fulfill this goal and explore different resource management regimes, the trust will be purchasing lunar regolith from lunar transport, lander and extractive companies.
