Switzerland to kick off Space4Impact platform

Paris, 19 November 2020. – The Swiss Space Center and the European Space Agency (ESA)’s Business Incubation Center in Switzerland are launching Space4Impact, an online event “to raise awareness about space technologies and launch a digital marketplace platform to connect corporates, investors, organizations, and startups”, Space4Impact said.

The event is supported by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, the Office for Economic Affairs & Innovation at the Swiss State of Vaud and the Swiss Federal Institute (EPFL) Tech4Impact initiative.

The kick-off is planned for 25 November through the initiative’s LinkedIn site. The first session will host Natalia Archinard, Deputy Head of Education, Science, Transport & Space Section at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs; Simonetta di Pippo, Director of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA); Claude Nicollier, Former Swiss Astronaut for ESA; and Isabelle Duvaux-Bechon, Head of the Member States Relations and Partnerships Office at ESA.
